McClay contract?

I read somewhere on these pages that after the draft McClays contract is up. If that’s the case I would expect another NFL team to come in and offer a FO Job.

Jerry won’t hire a GM so McClay comes the closest to that description .

The thing with McClay is if you’re not happy with him why keep him around and if you are why not extend him. Overall I would definitely extend him .

As an example he drafts Schoon but he can’t make MM include him in the offense .

The lame bait and switch for shock value is for Jerry, after all these years, to take the clipboard at 80+ years old and school us all with some late oughts Patriots type teams with his play calling on all three sides of the ball.

Anyone see the picture the other day on here of Jerry, even at todays age, with a notepad with what looked like plays scribbled on it.

Anyway...for anyone else reading....I have heard praise go to Baltimore as a club for drafting a lot of guys like McClay(assuming you want to give him all the credit).

There are new teams like San Fran and Dretroit...but how come I dont see them listed when a see threads about best drafting clubs. Personally, Philly seems to draft well too.

Name your Golden GM's or delete the post. Its a shame to make posts with purposeful missing info. God's good, right.

I think McClay is a very good administrator, he takes all the information from the scouts and makes it all work with Front Office,scounts, and Coaches.
Hes good, but he's not a scout himself, so he regurgitates the information when they are making late round picks

COOL...LYING AND OBFUSCATION IS SO COOL...no one cares about how smart it is to lie about who the decision maker really is...its played out and pathetic at this point....

Who is the 'supposed' scout leader if its not McClay? I dont want some lame talk about 'well, there are scouts for each position and yada yada yada' ....its played out.

The Eagles (Howie Roseman), Ravens (Eric DeCosta), Chiefs (Brett Veach), Rams (Les Sneed), and Lions (Brad Holmes) of late have all been consistently better drafters than the Jones' ensemble of yes men and family members.

Of course, drafting better is subjective so we can always just measure playoff success.
