McNabb Encouraging Commanders to sign Owens

It's probably Shanahan or Danny telling McNabb to say it in the press to make it look better if they do sign him.
Probably trying to head off anything in the press of bringing up the McNabb/Owens problems from the eagles.

But even if McNabb is saying it by himself it would make no difference if they signed him because the press would be watching every little step and it would be only a matter of time before Owens would start pouting and causing trouble.

It's a lot of desperation on all fronts.

Owens has few if any options and would love to stick it to the Eagles and Cowboys.

McNabb needs a more reliable target and wants to stick it to the Eagles.

Shanahan wants to hit the ground running and win quickly.

Snyder wants the Commanders to be relevant and newsworthy again.

Add it all up and I think this definitely happens.

This will be hilarious if they sign TO! The Skins are just asking for it especially with their current OL. I can see it now... TO pouting cause he wouldn't be getting the ball since McNabb would be too busy running for his life and throwing ducks. Haha... so I guess their WR rich drafts in the past haven't been as impressive as one thought if they are looking to TO, Porter, and other hasbeens for help.

I heard mosely say this morning that if owens were to go to washington Everyone at valley ranch would be applauding.

He actually said this morning that he saw first hand how bad of a guy owens is to have on the team when he was in the locker room.

He then said wade would give a standing ovation!!!

Pretty funny stuff. Dan snyder said some things about owens in mark maskes book from 06 and Mcnabbs mom has been outspoken about owens.

So them all ending up together in the win now Commanders locker room would be fabulous for us.
