Twitter: Media and fans hold Cowboys to a higher standard

This is all true, but the major distinction is all of the teams mentioned in comparison have performed well in the playoffs. All very recently.

Of course we are harder on Dallas. As fans, we are exhausted.

When you bask in the title of America's Team, that's gonna happen, no? More eyes are on you and thus there'll be more of the criticism when you fail and more of the praise when you succeed. Kinda sounds like how people view the QB of a team, doesn't it? Not talking about Dak specifically, but just the QB position in general.

Further to this point, has anyone heard the media talk about Dallas's injuries and how they might effect the team? In the meantime, someone on the Eagles stubs his toe and we hear what a huge loss it is for them. Dallas played 5 games without Dak. They lost 2 starting CBs and now LVE who has really come on this season, and it doesn't get a mention when they struggle against the Jags.

Our fan base is pathetically sensitive.
Almost as stupid and pathetic as hyping Taylor Heinicke's current backup QB in Washington for years on end.

Like if we had done THAT, everyone would know how utterly useless our football opinions are!

Or Wentz or Dalton or Rush....get the rhythm...

Eye Test is Dak Haters fiend:muttley:

I really don't know why people care about outside noise but it's all over Twitter. Cowboys fans constantly whining about what a talking head said.

When you have as much exposure as the Cowboys, and win next to nothing for 25 years, there's going to be criticism. It doesn't help when millions of fans are running around social media yelling "WE DEM BOYZ!" after blowing out a garbage team in October. Of course there's going to be blowback when they flop.

Our fans act no different than any others so save it with the we are the worst nonsense.
