Nice to see A&M finishing strong after a very dissapointing season, up 30-7 on Northwestern in the third. They didnt collapse to start the second half and the playcalling is like night and day without Sherman calling the game, just furthering my opinion that firing him was the right move. Going to miss Deruyter, though.

If they are able to hold on and win, and yes I am skeptical after all their late game collapses, the Big 12 will be 5-1, with two games left.

I am not a fan of KSU, but they better win their bowl game....also, I really like Stanford, but I hope OSU wins.

7-1 would be an outstanding bowl record.....with Iowa St. being the only loss.

Of course, two of those teams will be leaving, but still, 5-1 for the remaining teams would still be outstanding.

A&M wins 33-22, and ESPN's coverage of this game was laughable. Three hours of actively rooting against A&M and talking about NW "winning one for the monkey" and then thirty seconds about A&M winning the game for their dead teammate. Disgusting.

Obviously, I have no stock in this game.

When it was 30-7, I rooted for the comeback because I didn't think they could do it, .. and that part was exciting, ... but when they made it 30-22 I started cheering for the A&M offense to close the thing out without NW ever getting the ball back.

That was impressive.

A&M looked the same as they had all season. The offense went ultra conservative and couldn't move the ball, the secondary couldn't cover or tackle. I will not miss Deruyter and his inability to stop an offense in the 2nd half. A team cannot blow a lead without giving up points and his defense gave up a lot of them in the 2nd half.
