There are rumblings that the Jets are quietly shopping Mekhi Becton. He is coming back from an knee injury that forced him to miss almost the entire season, along with some conditioning issues, but he is just 23 and very talented. If you can get this kid to buy in and stay in shape, has legitimate pro bowl level upside.

It’s an interesting idea, a ‘buy low’ roll of the dice on a former high 1st round talent. I can see positives and negatives about such a move, but ultimately don’t see the Cowboys making it.

I'd figure they'd want more than we would want to give up.

A red flag for me is that if the Jets, who know his medicals better than anyone, are ready to pull the plug on a talent like that with no clear replacement....?

He would seem to be the kind you build around, not give up on at 23, but again they know more than we do on his injuries.

If the trade was for next to nothing, then sure. Better to have a little something to back up Tyron because he will be down again this year.

I would give offer a conditional future second rounder. Something is up with him after he was injured last season.

His issues are more about his conditioning and staying in shape.

Just heard Joe Douglas on FAN.

Didn't get the impression that they are ready to move on from him, although strangely enough, Becton isn't at OTAs this week, but in Dallas working out.

Maybe they move him if offered a first but I'd be surprised at a fire sale price.

I don't see why the Jets would take a late round pick.

I don't see why the Cowboys would give up an early pick.

I wouldn't look to invest in a 370 pound OL who has already had knee issues.
