I will preface this by saying I don't consider Led Zepplin to be a "Metal Band". That label would be far too limiting for their talents. I am also going to share a tribute to them as both of these examples of orchestra backing still put tingles down my spine after watching them many times:

I believe I have shared this tribute before but a couple interesting notes. When they were first organizing this tribute to Zep, Nancy Wilson trashed the intro because the studio was freezing cold and she couldn't even feel her fingers. She told them she can do this and they trusted her. Having John Bonham's kid on the drums, Ann Wilson's vocals, Zep so excited towards the end, and the chorus; if not perfect, a darn near perfect arrangement.
