Micah has been ineffective because he runs straight up the field

All he does is RUN STRAIGHT UP THE FIELD!!! We know he can be a great pass rusher, but what about an all around player. Just watch the games, ball is snapped he's running around the tackle. Doing this against Brady is going to have him at 56 years old running around on us like he's Hurts or something

Generally speaking the opponent remedy has been get the ball out quick on a pass or just run the ball up the middle which will be good for 4 or 5 yards. He should be moved around like a chess piece to find best match ups while rushing the passer. To line him against OTs where he is giving up 60 or 70 pounds is a good way to wear him down over 17 games.

I've read on this site and others that he is the best defensive player in the league...one of the best all time....Today on the cowboys radio broadcast Babe Laufenberg said the cowboys have the equivalent of LT and Carl Banks in Parsons and Sam Williams.

if all this stuff is true, Dallas should beat the 8 win lousy Tampa Bay team by double digits in a laugher next monday night.

The answer to the question IMO is this...OC's have determined that the only or best way to defend against Parsons and a great pass rush is to dump, dump and dump some more. Get rid of the ball faster or run to his side. They are double teaming him and we have no answer on the other side. The Goat next week will do the same only this time we will have LVE to help underneath throws.

Wow, I can' t believe I just said that.

Not if the offense puts up 6 points with 9 - 3 and outs

I do wonder if the "illness" Micah had may still be bothering him.

Seen him take a knee a few times, look a bit exhausted, on the sidelines resting more the last few weeks

If it is effecting him, I hope it clears up asap

It 100% should be. If any of the other teams with the big name big salary Quarterbacks were going to Tampa next monday the expectation would be an easy double digit win. For some reason the cowboys are treated differently. If Allen, Mahomes, Burrow and their 12+ win teams were headed to tampa monday the expectation would be that the game would be over at the coin toss.

This is the worst opponent the cowboys have ever played in a playoff game in their entire franchise history. The soft media and fanbase here will turn this game into some kind of huge difficult game where Dallas is an underdog and being disrespected by the end of the week. Its truly pathetic.

If Dallas loses this game it will be completely absurd. This should not be a close game in any way.

Parsons isn't a fulltime edge rusher, he's a middle backer who needs to be playing in the middle of the field so that he can use his speed against teams. OC's in the league are all on the PARTYLINE telling each other how to play this kid and Quinn looks like a fool for not making adjustments to free up MORE of this studs talents!

If dude is tired at 23 years-old maybe he's not cut-out for a long nfl career.
He's 6'3" and 245 pounds. He's a LB being used as a 4-3 DE. He's not built for it. He's better suited to be a TJ Watt style LB in a 3-4.

He looks worn out, and opponents have figured out ways to neutralize him. He hasn’t been nearly as effective as he was earlier in the season. Our entire defense has dropped off.
