The title says it all.

We had year one, he was so good, people argued he was the best player in the league.

Year two, he comes in a little better, meh, then still pretty darnn good for a rookie. The things he helped his teammates do aren't glaring off the stat sheet. But they helped hiim win.

Year three, Parsons really turned it up to Mike Tyson level during the off-season. He's all-out, hanging with Austin fitness gurus, and being a sponge, grinding it out with the mindset to get filthy rich early on because of your mindset, to be the best. He could surely get by on raw athleticism, and many do,but this guy is pushing, pushing pushing himself harder than any player we've seen since maybe Jerry Rice. Every hour, you're training and working. And wow, it looks like he took another leap this game, and will literally beat anybody.

Are you taking notes Sam Williams?

He's so good his aura makes the players around him better. It's kinda like how when you are in the mere presence of Chuck Norris you become a better fighter.

Jeff Smith was the first recipient of the Bruce Lee Award. He was from Kingsville and graduated King High in '67. He beat Chuck Norris the first three times they fought at the Nationals. Jeff learned from Jhun Rhee...back when. Jeff was a 7 Time National Champion...Black Belt.

How many push ups can Chuck Norris do?

Zero. Chuck doesn’t do push ups. He pushes the world down.

If Williams can take the next step, they could ascend to another level

They have to find a way to keep Parsons healthy all year. He needs to sit more when we have a big lead. I know that would probably make him mad but he's such an integral part of our success.
Micah knows this. He has figured his way around it by making more of every snap. That's kind of what I'm saying about Micah Mindset.

That's up there with climbing into the tiger pit at the zoo with a raw steak strapped to your chest.

Also, I think you have described a new fear: Micahphobia - the fear of possessing a football while Micah Parsons is nearby.
Yeah, I have to say, about the fighting part. I'm glad they wanted to practice pushing it "over the edge." Micah is bound to agitate a few players as the year progresses. Anyway, just what a player. His teammates aren't bad either. They all step up at the certain times. Dak has been doing what he does best and just spreading ti around. He's not trying to hang onto the ball and make the big play,he's just trying to hit the first open guy and hurry to the next play. When we do that, we tend to eat up more clock, because it's dink and dunk, dink and dunk.

Perfect balance last game, actually. I loved the tempo.
