Whole quote

Cowboys hybrid DE Micah Parsons said he and DC Mike Zimmer haven’t spoken directly too much. “Honestly, me and Zimm have probably said a total of 20 words to each other. He’s a very quiet person. All I keep hearing from the coaches is, ‘Zimm likes it this way.’ I was like, ‘Well, I like it this way.’ So, I can’t wait to have my true sitdown with him. “I think it will be pretty cool because obviously old-school mindset, old-school mentality. I think he’s had a lot of great players, but he ain’t ever have a Micah before. It will be fun, and I think it’s going to be unique. “There’s a lot of similarities on things to how he uses me to how Dan (Quinn) used me in the system, but he has more twists and turns of how he’s going to set things up. Also, there are some things that I’ve got to get used to, too. It’s going to be a compromisable relationship. There’s going to be things he’s like, ‘I’m not going to give on. I don’t give on.’ That’s part of the regime, you know?”

If they have only said 20 words to each other it's Micah's fault.

Ok Micah - lol
Unfortunately his approach is the mentality of many players today - they dictate to coaches what they expect as opposed to coach coaching .
Hey I am all for it being a partnership and open to discussions to show how the player may feel he is best utilized doing this - however in a team
Sport whether you’re a “Micah” or not - the coach has final say and needs autonomy to put you in the best spot that benefits the TEAM the best.
This should be interesting -

Negative posts in 3, 2, 1 …..
It's a GREAT thing that the new DC and the best defensive player have spoken less than 20 words in almost 4 months since he was hired.

I see this as a POSITIVE thing

It's GOOD that they've had this level of communication.

This whole fake positivity thing reminds me of a twilight zone episode where a child had the ability to control everything with his thoughts......."It's a Good thing that you changed Mr. Smith into a scarecrow in the cornfield, Jimmy".

Yeah......this is not in any way shape or form a negative thing.
