Great game plan and execution yesterday. We went into a hostile environment as underdogs and had their home crowd booing their offense before the end of the first half— and had the crowd chanting “let’s go Cowboys” before the end of the 3rd quarter lol

That was a dominant defensive performance, and Zimmer was relaxed and went to work making the game a nightmare for Watson

I like that he's on the sidelines instead of up in the box. He can interact (yell) with these guys on a real time basis.

This is the effect you get when you have change. Had they had Zimmer for 3 years they would be raving about "DQ".

That said "change" does work...and I think Zimmer was probably the right kind of change for these pampered millionaires on the Defense. Hopefully that demanding toughness bleeds over to the offensive side of the ball.

MM could still be here if they get to the NFCCG. But that is way too long away to even think about.

Put the anointing oil away. Cleveland Offense goes through Chubb. And Watson played 0 snaps in the preseason coming off shoulder surgery. Defense was good. Very good. Its what they should do against an anemic offense instead of what they did against the Cards last season.
