Do we really want to see Micah go up against their best line man, or do we want to see Micah go up against the other tackle so that Micah has an easier job getting pressure on the QB?

This is a matchup we can't ignore, I know we like to bring Micah up the middle that's always a plus, please give your thoughts

Micah will line up in multi positions. DQ will have a plan. Every snap will not be Micah vs Williams. And I am not concerned over it.

What I am concerned with, how much holding and dirty tricks that Williams will get away with. MM needs to talk to the refs before the game. Put them on notice.

Coaches should always game plan to exploit mismatches and put players in the best position to excel.

Micah will be moved around which is what is best. Williams play maybe starting to decline a bit. Had a rough game earlier this season. May have been Steeler game.

No chance. Williams is a stud. Their other four aren’t good

This Defense has been designed to throw several different looks vs SF.
Just watch how Q will disguise coverage while bringing heat on Purdy.
Thats how we finally jump this SF hurdle we have to pound Purdy boy and I have faith that MP wants in on some of that action.
Sunday night you better bring your popcorn and milk duds and get settled in for some fascinating football.

Trent, and whoever else takes on Micah, better pack his lunch.

These are the games that transitional players like MP just take over.
Almost going to be like a boxing match sunday night, and MP is the gangsta.

I just hope the injury he suffered last week doesn't slow Micah much. I know he kept playing, but Parsons is the type who is not going to come off the field unless a limb is missing, and even then, he might pick it up, tape it back on and keep going.

I was about to say I would be more worried about the dirty plays and holding the 49ers gets away with. Example last year the blindside block on Diggs that didn’t get called the multiple holding and yanking by their oline that doesn’t get called.

Yep, like what Jay Gruden did with Warshington concerning the center moving the ball on field goal attempts.

Not saying this just because Parsons is on the Cowboys but dude could draw 10 holding calls a game.

Haven't seen someone get held as much as he does in a long time.

Williams plays left tackle. I haven't counted but it seems like Micah lines up against the right tackle most often.

If they leave Trent 1on1 vs constant double teams I like Micah vs Trent. That said, we will move him around and I really like when he rushes up the middle.

I thought they had an “elite” offensive line. Or is that the media hyping them up? I’ve heard they have the best offensive line in the NFL. Is that accurate or is that idiot YouTubers?

We will have to “earn” the right to pressurize Purdy. SF is going to come to the table ready to run the ball down our throats perfecting the misdirection looks that AZ blueprinted us on.

I expect them to run AT Micah all game long, and try and wear him down and neutralize his pass rush.

Our LBs better be ready to run, hit, and above all— WRAP UP— every ball carrier.

The 9ers can afford to be patient and grind against our D and only drop Purdy back when he has favorable looks and protection.

IMO— this game hinges on our offense’s ability to score points. We MUST score more than 20 pts to even have a shot. Our D is awesome, but they are susceptible to the run, and SF is not prone to easy turnovers.

Gotta play a full 60, play through every whistle, maximize every scoring opportunity, and out-physical SF to walk away with a W.

At some point it would be nice to see Micah play MLB like Fred Warner. He doesn't always need to rush the passer. Mix it up and move him around so the offense doesn't know what he is doing. He could drop back like Warner does and read the QB or blow up Kittle over the middle or just flat out rush Purdy. I guarantee Shanahan is going to be taking notes for the playoffs.
