Mr Parsons.....
( We know you will not read this but addressing as a letter)
Very short/easy question for you.
Why would you want to re-sign with this team?

You don't have to answer the question because you already did.
Answer: The Culture

What has rarely, if ever, has not been said aloud, the problem within this Dallas Cowboy team. Now, we have heard the term --The Culture. What does that mean?
Parsons said it when the players are meeting, on the field, after the game. He was recruiting players to come to Dallas. Not to win games but get endorsements, commercials, frequent TV/radio appearances. That is the business ( aka: The Culture ) in Dallas.

Do you see Lions, Bills, Vikings, Chiefs players getting all these endorsements? Yes the QBs usually always do and maybe one/two others.
But in Dallas, the DE, RBs, WRs, punters, back up QBs, etc..... have endorsements, radio appearances, etc.... And look at the after football career brings.
Jimmy Johnson, Aikman, Moose, Romo, Garrett, Irvin all have pretty nice "gigs" after football.

Players careers like Demarcus Ware, Zack Martin, Romo, Witten, Tyron Smith, had their football careers squandered because of the Cuture.

There is not a single NFL owner that speaks after every single game and makes weekly radio appearances as the Cowboys owner.
This would be OK if this team WON anything but the 30 year drought travels on and the owner talks in circles when speaking toe reporters.
Jerry will make his weekly visits on 105.3FM The Fan and will never take a question from the fans. The radio hosts will dance around serious/tough questions,
so to NOT upset this owner. Why? The stations needs this owner to make his "visits" because make the station better revenue. More of The Culture.
Reports dance around questions to owners and the players adding more of The Culture problems. Reporters need that access so to be viable, which helps their career and feeds their family. ( Which I understand) But it is still The Culture.

Until Cowboys fans start treating this owner as Eagles fans did, which will not happen because Cowboy fans scream to get autographs and photos with this
marketing wizard, Cowboys will continue to be the NY Jets, Browns, Bears.... a mess but a popular mess.
Jerry loves to throw out 5 SBs which he was part of three but honest Cowboys fans know, it was Jimmy Johnson that built this. Jimmy was the person that
traded away the Cowboys BEST asset ( Herschel Walker) to get several players /drafts in return. But that is ONLY part of it. Jimmy took those assets and created the draft board which ALL teams use now. Jimmy turned those draft picks into players that created The Team of the 90's. Today, the Cowboys draft has been sold ( more FOOLS GOLD) that Dallas has drafted well which is a myth. The 2023 and 2024 Cowboy drafts has been "poor" at best with their last (2) 1st rd picks close to BUST.
Their 2nd rd picks have been POOR and now their 4th rd picks ( Lance/Mingo) adding to their POOR sandwich. And let's continue with Jerry mastery ( according to himself). The Jones love to OVERVALUE their own players. Can't admit failure, delay signing even their "decent" players so they have to overpay them. Then The Jones love to throw out, they have no money ON THE CAP because handing out record deals so then have to take their shopping cart to Dollar General and load up as many UDFA to fill out their roster. Hoping some will produce. Brandon Aubrey is an example. Wonderful find ! So this validates their decision making to continue process and then throw out that they are "ALL-IN". Of course, like in today's society, people get to change definitions all the time. The Jones' definition is far difference that the majority, but doesn't matter, Jerry can do what he wants to "his toy".

Really doesn't matter who is walking the Puppet Sideline from Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Parcells, Phillips, Garrett and McCarthy, The Culture still is alive and well
in Jerry's World. As long as the puppet master continues to win The Forbes Bowl each season, The Dallas Cowboys will be a marketing team disguised as a football team.

Side Note: Players can buy their own rings. It is a business to them. Fans ( short for Fanatics) care about wins. Do not care about any players personal statistics, ProBowls, etc.... Their personal stats are for getting another contract. So Mr. Parsons back up your truck because your the next contestant to get a boatload without even getting to a NFC Conference games. And Jerry will get to sell more #11 jerseys. Watch the games for enjoy as you would a movie of TV show. But we don't care about the Oscars, Golden Globe, Emmy's, etc..... Those are to pat the Hollywood people on the back.

( Rip away at this post now.)

#DallasCowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones asked if he will remain the Dallas Cowboys general manager (via Ed Werder):
“I didn't buy an investment. I bought an occupation. I bought something I was going to do. I was 46. I bought something that I was going to do for the rest of my life, and that's what I'm doing.”

Would love to see a solid follow up question. Jerry is never "attack" ( probably to strong of word) but really hammered about his lack of ON THE FIELD success over 30 years.
