Outside of apparently being a Lakers fan, he seemed like a great guy. Very sad...much too young.

Oh, man I hate to read this. He was such an enjoyable actor and personality to watch in film and interviews.

had a heart attack a month or so ago; read a week or so back that he was still in the hospital; I figured it was bad. I guess they were looking at a transplant but he deteriorated too fast for that.

He will always be Bear to me

"Yo Harry, You the MAN."

Most actors when they die I have no real connect, but this guy passing away seems more sad than normal. I guess since he was such a big guy but came across as gentle person hit home with me. I really enjoyed all his movies. He was 54. That is too young,

Sad.
Only movie I recall seeing with him in it was The Green Mile.
I did watch an interview he did with Jay Leno earlier this year. He is a giant teddy bear. Sweet, sweet personality.

When they talk about "loveable bears", this is the type of guy they have in mind. RIP, tough way to go out.

Exactly how I felt about him. He was a huge guy, but he always seemed like the guy that was really just a nice person.

I loved him in Green Mile.
