Nice article here from Mickey about Donovan Wilson

What Daboll said about Micah.
"He's a problem. He's a dynamic football player. … He has rare pass-rush ability. We're going to have a good plan for him. He's fun to watch when you're not getting ready to play him."

Some other tidbits.
Quinn says Micah is not solely at DE, they will continue to move him around. Find the best matchups.

Cowboys avoided an 0-2 start. Last time they did that was 2010, then 2001, the time before that, 1993 without Emmitt. Then 0-8 in 1989, 1963 at 0-4

He’s our most explosive safety and dynamic safety when he’s playing to his full potential. I hope Quinn opens up his bag and use him diversely on defense. Get him close to the line of scrimmage and let him ball

No, no, no, just a month ago people were talking about cutting him. Keeps getting injured, couldn’t win starter position, can’t cover, tackle, get ints etc and other nonsense and gibberish!

I had trouble figuring out the safety spot because of the number of DBs we had to keep. With Bell and Mukuamu looking like keepers, we had five safeties (Kearse, Hooker, Wilson, Bell and Mukuamu), but those numbers could have been affected by the numbers at corner (Diggs, Brown, Lewis, Joseph, Wright, Bland, Goodwin). I felt like Wilson was a lock, but agreed with some others that the fact that he was on his final year made him a possible cut.

In the end, we did what I thought we would, temporarily cut C.J. Goodwin . However, I thought we would put Maher back on the 53 instead of him and make Goodwin one of our two call-ups for the first three games until a roster spot opened for him.

I’m a bit perplexed with Goodwin, I get he’s a good special teams player but you’d think a combo of Mukuamo and Bell would be able to handle the roll!

I can’t remember the last time we had the depth and quality at safety we do now. And some young guys waiting in the wings
