Some good tidbits from Mickey. Some we seen before as well.

Gets more into the non-activity from rookie mini-camp.

He also goes over the surgery procedure on Pollards ankle and leg. Called Tight Roping, a procedure where they do not use screws, therefore avoiding a 2nd surgery to remove them.
It was what Tua went through for his high ankle sprain in 2019 while at Alabama.
He did have torn ligaments, and explains that procedure according to the surgeon.
And said he should be ready in plenty of time for TC.

Also said Steele said it was news to him as to moving to LG. And also said he was told he is progressing faster than usual for his injury.

It won't matter how many times ,.how often... how much it is explained, as folks here will be so very determined to label and define Pollard's high ankle sprain as " serious injury"

Torn ligaments is a degree of " sprain" in high ankle.- not like a torn ACL or Achilles tendon tear.

I love my wife, Jimmy Johnson, rescue annimals, and Jesus…I despise Mickey, and the way Booger has ruined this organization. You know with 100% certainty what is gonna happen when you start threads with his trash attached, but you continue to do it…he should get ZERO respect.
Lol, the most valuable sports franchise on Earth is ruined in your eyes.

I'm one of the ones who says Pollard will experience some lingering effects from the injury.
But I have no problem being wrong if it means improvement of the player and for the Cowboys.

I have the same concerns. Doubtful that Pollard is not going to have some difficulties.

This is great news! No Gallup type excuses for anyone this season. They are going to need Pollard to be his best right out of the gate.

I'm glad to hear that Pollard should be good to go by TC. I'm intrigued by Vaughn. I have a hunch that he may end up being one of the best RBs taken in this draft, especially if he can live up to his Sproles comparisons. On a slightly different tangent, I'm also intrigued by three UDFAs this year: Isaiah Land, Hunter Luepke, and Jalen Cropper (Fresno State).

Land intrigues me with his pass rushing skills. I enjoy watching his highlights. Luepke at FB is intriguing because 1. He may herald the return of FB with how good I think he will be and 2. He can be the new short yardage back. Cropper intrigues me because, with our WR issues last year and how quick he looks, I think that he might surprise us in TC. Should be a fun camp.
