Might as well blow it up and tank the season and draft a QB

I am not saying tank but moves need to be made including drafting a QB. Dak is just insufferable after 8 years.

I know drafting QB high is not jerrys thing but id love to see dallas explore this option after so many years of not doing so.

Doing the opposite has gotten them nowhere.

Quite frankly i am tired of the romo/dak experiments every 8-9 years.

Look, we OBVIOUSLY arent getting past the Niners or Philly in the playoffs if we even make it there, thats 100%!

tank tank tank, trade off what ya can on offense, keep that defense going and draft a real QB
You give up easily huh. Stay away from the military. You wouldn’t last long.

Purdy was Mr Irrelevant. Kittle was in the 5th. Top 5 QBs can easily be a crap shoot.

This team has plenty of young pieces. Let's please stop the loser talk about tanking.

"Actively try to lose the final 12 games of the season"

Um, I suppose that's a plan?

Not a realistic one, but a plan nonetheless.

I don't see a rookie qb solving this teams problems but I'm on board with taking one in the draft.

Yep, no rookie can solve problem at QB right away, but neither can the kinds of QBs weve been putting at the position the last 20 plus years.

That right there should be more reason to go another route at the position. Id rather draft a QB high and use those years seeing what he has.

I am done with the 8-9 year roller coaster experimental QBs, and if any of the fans aren't, then you are insane and are a glutton for punishment.

With Dak at QB they can easily tank without even trying to tank.

Jerry will say we have a top 3 pick that cost us a 4 right on the roster. Whatever happens they can’t extend Dak. Just too many people to pay and have a competent football team.

SB’s aren’t won in October so 12 games left. That’s a college season.

yes, maybe the drafted qb can play offensive line to help us get a run game against any defense with a pulse, maybe he can play defensive line to help our defense when they play any offense with a pulse.

You haven't heard? Mahomes would solve all of our issues.

Too late to tank for Caleb Williams. He is already better than Dak.

This is idiotic.

Anyone remember 1991? Early in the season the Cowboys got crushed by the Eagles, and Aikman was sacked 11 times - yes 11 times. It was a massive defeat that suggested the Cowboys were out of their league.

They ended up beating Philly later in the year, went a couple of rounds into the playoffs, and the next year they won the Super Bowl.

I KNOW - this isn't the early 1990's Cowboys, but the point is you don't get better by quitting early in the season.

People complain about the culture now? What do they think the culture would be if throwing the coaches and management were to give up whenever things got tough?

If it were late in the season, and the playoffs were out of the picture, that's different. Early in the season with the playoffs still a very real possibility, tanking would be the mindset of quitters.

IF you feel Dak Prescott can lead this team to 3 to 4 consecutive wins over playoff coaching staffs, playoff defenses and playoff quarterbacks then it may sound idiotic to you.

To continue being handcuffed to a wildcard playoff ceiling by the most important position on the field is downright negligent.

However it can be accomplished to move on from this status quo should be on the table.
