Don't bash me. Just asking a simple question. Would he be a good fit here? He did wonders with the Rams and would have done well with the Lions and 49ers if they had good teams. Didn't Roy have his best season with him? He could have a lot of fun with Felix also.

It's just a question...probably never going to happen since we have the redhead that's ivy league trained...whoop de freakin do! BTW it has nothing to do with yesterdays loss. I've never liked Jason as the OC.

Wow. So most people are pissed cause Felix and Choice don't get the ball enough now as it is and now you want to consider bringing in an OC that doesn't believe there is even such thing as a running game?

Thanks but no thanks.

I was just asking. That Marshall Faulk guy sucked in that offense didn't he?
This is a passing league last time I checked.

What? Martz may not be they guy but he did average about 1500 yds Rushing and 1000 yds receiving per year with one guy ....Marshall Faulk/Rams.

Yeah it's real nice to go back to when he had Marshall Faulk like 8-10 years ago. What did he do with Frank Gore in SF? He didn't use him properly. How'd he do with the backs in Detriot? He did nothing and tried to turn both those offenses into a nothing but passing offense.

This isn't the St. Louis Rams of 1999-2001. We'd wind up wasting the talent of 2 or 3 quality backs.

And beyond that if people think that Garrett screws up with his playcalling and doesn't adjust they'd really love having Martz.

As far as a passing league goes, yeah there is more passing. But in general you don't have teams who win a ton without being able to run the ball at all.

The Jets are doing pretty darn well without being pass happy.

The Saints are at their absolute best when they've got their running game going with the pass. You know when they weren't good? During their 3 game losing streak where they couldn't run the ball.

The Vikings can run the ball and pass it.

Unless you're QB is Peyton Manning and you have a crap ton of WRs to throw to I don't really see you doing a whole lot just being a 70% or more passing team.

I would not compare the 49ers or Lions to the Rams of '99 or the Cowboys of 2010.

Martz as a QB coach and offensive assistant would be a huge upgrade to do-nothing Wade Wilson.

And Martz may forget the running game from time to time, but the guy knows how to score TDs. That is something that the Cowboys could use.

But I still want Dan Reeves as an offensive consultant, he will make sure Garrett and co. do not forget the run game. EVER.

If you guys are pissed with Garrett's playcalling, you would go freaking postal with Martz.

I once saw Martz run a double reverse from the 5 yard line, I will never forget that.
