They won it all as a wildcard #6 seed. Barely slipped into the playoffs with 10 wins and then proceeded to rattle off 3 road wins to get the SB against the Steelers. If we are not able to win the division then oh well. Dak is playing at an extremely high level right now, just like Aaron Rodgers turned the corner in 2010 that was his highest level of play up to that point in his career. Let’s get this done!!!

There D was a bend but don’t break very opportunistic D that forced turnovers, like ours.

To win the Superbowl our D will need to force turnovers to give our O added possessions AND our O will need to protect the ball WHILE still moving the ball vs very good defenses.

We need our Special Teams to help out too!

AND of course we need our coaches AT THEIR BEST. Put our players in position so it is a little easier to make plays. Good schemes and play design, etc. No Wildcat, etc.

That was an ideal year for them. No Tom Coughlin (McCarthy's antithesis), 49ers (Rodgers AND McCarthy's antithesis), or Kyle Shanahan.

McCarthy takes advantage when those guys aren't there.

So I guess the moral of this story is................someone take Shanahan and the 49ers off our hands and we have a chance.

against good teams our turnovers drop. Dont think we had a single one vs eagles or niners this season. Think we had a recovered special teams fumble vs the niners in the playoffs but nothin from the defense, but then again our O was so bad it wouldnt have mattered.

This is interesting because I think they started the bend but don’t break when the offense became the strength of the team which was after the SB due to moving Woodson to safety after losing Collins.

When Capers arrived, it was an aggressive defense compared to their 07 and 08 team. In 2010, you can make the argument that the defense carried the team for the majority of the regular season.

Great points you brought up but another thing I think what people forgot was that 2010 GB was committed to running the football during their playoff run and did run the ball well. Dallas needs to establish that again in Jan.
