You would think he uses a bye week wisely but too much of those records depend on a lot of things other than that. Getting people back from injuries, the opponent and momentum for starters. And luck. Speaking of which, when are we going to get some turnovers?

After the first month last season the offense couldn’t score as well. Then he changed some things and the offense took off. In fact Lamb’s stats are almost identical to what he had last year through 6 games. Then he and Dak blew up. Not sure we have the Oline for it this year, but we basically have the same cast of characters minus TP and Gallup.

I don't care if McCarthy was 4-0 and the Cowboys win tomorrow evening to make it 5-0. He still should have been fired after GB.

Had extra time to add a few wrinkles.
Rested up.
But the major reason? The 49ers team I was watching versus the Chiefs was a different unit, they were making non-stop mental errors, which is totally unlike a Shanahan team.
Combine that with their depleted status and I think if we are ever going to have a chance against them, this is it.
As I've already stated, if it doesn't happen, Mike needs to be shown the door.
