The camera man said McCarthy never pushed him in any way. McCarthy simply placed his hand over the lens. The camera man said he himself bent backwards to keep from stepping into McCarthy as McCarthy was leaving the field. Doing some research before posting some falsehoods can go a long way. Sheesh.

No one should touch another person's camera equipment. That said, the zooming capability of current camera technology, whether it is handheld or of the broadcast network variety, is exceptionally good. High, publish and broadcast quality photos and video can be obtained from many yards away.

It begs the question why anyone with a camera should be within, say ten feet for example, of their subject? Is the camera's zoom missing any type of detail from ten feet away, so the cameraperson must get within four feet or even closer? Rhetorical question.
