Comedy - Holy heck that was funny.

WTH ? What's up w/ Britney?

Who?

Britney !

Britney? Britney who?

Spears, Britney Spears!

Do we care? Is she here? Is she a fan of football? :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Oh man I just lol'd again

i saw that live, i was all exited about the game!! and he said that, it was like the record screeching to a halt, all we needed was the sound effect.

btw i was going for georgia in that game, i didnt tune in till late because of the UT game. so anyway i was cheering on georgia, then they show major applewhite is the OC for Alabama!!! i was like, holly hell, i have never switched who i wanted to win a game more quickly. then they proceeded to loose, oh well, good for major tho, im glad he got out of rice

I heard that during the game and was wondering if he was drinking. It just came out of nowhere and I wish they would have shown the other guys in the booth as I bet they were both looking at him like he was a loon.

I was watching when that happened and I heard him say that.

I took it as, .. the game was so tense and the emotions were running high, it had been a great college game and the game was in OT, the first team had scored, it was now or never for Georgia, do or die, the moment was NOW, the tension was so high that you could cut it with a knife, moments like these are what college football is all about, ... and realizing that he couldn't say anything that could compare with the actual moment, he said something totally abstract, totally off the cuff, it was humor.

Sometimes when the atmosphere is tense at a family gathering if we are arguing politics or religion or something, my wife will pipe up and say, "Hey, how about those Mets!" or something totally abstract.

Thats what Mike Patrick was doing, ... I got it.

WEIRD.

I clicked the link and listened to the whole thing, haha, yeah, crazy.

I closed it and turned the ticket's stream on.

As soon as I hit play - THE WHOLE SOUNDBYTE started playing over. I thought that maybe I had hit Youtube.

Nope - the Ticket was playing it at that exact moment.

I could see that... but he certainly didn't sell it that way when it went over like a lead balloon. He just kind of let it hang out there.

It was more like having a tense moment a family gathering and then standing up on the dinner table and pulling down your pants to break up the tension. Sure, it works, but you look like an idiot just the same! :laugh2:

Pretty much the same on here. LOL, wth?

I think they kinda just think it was a bad joke at a bad time. That's how I see it.

Nah,
he appeared to me more quitely saying why the hell are we talking about Spears at this time in the game? He badly was trying to needle the topic. These guys don't drink on air. That's Dandy Don esque era.
