How many coin tosses did each of these guys have to win to get a top job in the NFL Front Office? 500? 1000?

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
The league has a problem with officiating. The fans find fault with missed calls. There are times - New Orleans - where the calls are so inappropriate the fans wonder if the outcome of the game was determined before the kick-off and the officials are they to make certain it comes out that way.

One of the biggest mistakes the league has made is to have a former official answering the Bat Phone and giving the "official" point of view on specific calls. I can see the league office discussing the credibility problem it has and someone tossed out a "What If" lets put a former ref in a booth that can be contacted to review the play live. This will quell the unrest among the fans.

However, when you hear Blandino give horse shate company line excuses for blatant missed calls, for or against, how does this do anything but incite the fan's disbelief?

It's bad enough to have Joe Buck and his little asides. The times he makes snarky offhanded remarks that blow something out of reality.

In the Eagles/Commander's game a WR didn't make a cut on one of the the last drives which possibly could have results in a first down. It was sketchy since the defense had several players who possibly could have cut him off. For the rest of the contest the play-by-play and the color man excoriated this player as if he lost the game for the Commanders.

Switched topics. But its these little missed calls and announcers doing shame calling that makes this league a little less than it was years ago.

Summerall and Madden were greatness. Sometimes I'd really like for Troy to reach over and strangle Buck and Blandino.
