Missouri continues A&Ms misery

in their final season of Big 12 play. Once again, A&M blows a double digit halftime lead....they have become experts at losing halftime leads this season.

It's getting ridiculous. We have outplayed the opposing team in all three losses for three of the four quarters, but we just flat out blew it in the third against OSU and in the fourth against Arkansas and Mizzu. We've had a double digit lead at halftime in every game this season and yet have three losses. With any sort of consistency we'd be 8-0 right now. Damn shame because this team has the ability to be elite.

Sounds a lot like the Cowboys. Sorry the Aggies couldn't help out your Rangers woes. I don't follow any particular college team but I always root for the Aggies.

texags crashed yesterday. aggies in full meltdown here in aggieland. A 9 win season and they were ready to compete for MNCs every year, time to join the SEC SEC SEC. Fish Camp should be against the damn law, turns level headed kids into complete idiots.

So is it offense mistakes? defensive mistakes? mental errors (turnovers)? Not that I follow A&M much, but as my dad is a third generation Aggie I tend to feel for this team.

Coaching, specifically second half playcalling. We get big leads on teams, lose our sense of urgency and run very predictable and lazy pass plays when we should be pounding the ball.

what i dont understand is, you have an OL that is very good at run blocking. you have michael and gray, who are very good RBs. you have a good running QB in tannehill. even with all of that, they can't seem to control the clock and just run it down the oppositions' throats in the second half.

funny thing is my bro is an aggie fan....he says the Horns should pass all day against them. I was telling him, that would be nice, but Harsin only calls passes between the LOS and 5 yds. he doesn't seem to believe in an intermediate and deep passing game.

the aggies will load the box with 9 guys and we wont be able to run, and when we pass, it will be those stupid short WR screens that go nowhere.

dude, we have an Oline that can't pass block, a freshman QB that knows the Oline can't pass block and we don't have a receiver on our damn team that can get open without a play that takes forever to run. What do you expect Harsin to call?

Turnovers on offense is the problem. Four in the second half against Oklahoma State, three in the second half against Missouri and one in the second half against Arkansas. In each game the Aggies only scored once in the second half, and that will not hold a lead in college football. The defense has it's problems but it is the inconsistency of the offense that keeps the team from holding a lead.

Season's done for them, not much to play for now other than finish strong and try to get to one of those "decent" bowls like the Alamo Bowl/Holiday Bowl. They might as well get a head start on getting their next QB some experience and play him some more.
