MJ Stewart released

Why are they cutting him?
Based on what I have been able to find he just hasnt been able to find a position in the secondary. Have been addressing the secondary for most of the off season and recently added depth at RB. Logical choice to let go in the Bucs opinion.

I don't think the Cowboys will go with him. Right now he is not prototypical for them.

Never heard of him. Internet search says he is a 2nd round pick out of NC. Played 21 games and logged zero turnovers. I have no idea if he can play or not.

I guess we can always add another player who can’t sniff a turnover.

Can’t remember how many games Randy Gregory played in his first two years? Who’s the bigger bust?

We like who we have. Does that saying still exist now that Garrett is gone?

A lot cheaper than Adams, and cost no draft picks. :lmao2:

I think most teams are set with their current players for now. Maybe a team with much less talent will make changes but not too many playoff contenders.

Maybe we should look. Especially after we let heath go. What idiots we are to not get him signed long term.

Unbelievable... I never heard of him, as a 2nd round pick, but that must be what other teams fans say about Trysten Hill.

Back in the day, the Cowboys coulda had him for Darius Jackson, Rico Gathers and 2 first-round picks.

Now he’s damaged goods...

Why would a team cut a solid player at this point in time?
In today's climate, you don't.

This is not your normal year. There are not a lot of live reps to allow struggling players to eat up the little time that is available.

Daylon Mack was another supposedly solid player who was a high pick who Baltimore dumped. He lasted a week in Detroit.

Out of shape, mentally slow, it could be a number of things. But patience is at a low right now.

Solid player. Second rounder 2 years ago. He's a free safety IMO not a corner.
Got some swag to him. Can play multiple positions.

Cowboys have any interest?
hes not a solid player. he would be on a team if he was a solid player.
