Yep, we're never getting anywhere without a physical, disciplinarian coach. We're the talented kid who melts at the first sign of adversity. If we can run over a team, we'll run up the score. However, if there's any sign of the other team punching back, we're on the ground rolling around, holding our stomach.
We lead the league in penalties and players doing things like holding a victory party before even playing the game shows the attitude here... and it shows the problem. We were beat by the same kind of team all year long, no matter how bad their record. If they had an ounce of physicality, whether it was Green Bay or the Cardinals, we not only lost, but lost in embarrassing fashion.
There's a culture problem here and we're a team full of finessey superstars that crumble when the going gets tough and it gets physical.
Getting rid of Quinn isn't going to fix the problem. Hiring the right coach and instilling the right culture of accountability will, which is something Jerry refuses to do, because he wants to hire buddy coach that lets him meddle. The fact that we've gone no further than we have with Garrett tells you the problem goes deeper than the personnel on the field or the coaching. We're constantly living in the crumbling house that Jerry built.
