MM play calling last night? Too aggressive?

I didnt really like the way he was so aggressive the first two drives. I'm nitpicking but I thought running more would have been the smarter play. We did start pounding it after the big lead.

I think he's still getting a feel for it, but I didn't have any real big issues on the flow. We moved the ball fairly easily which was good to see.

A little pass happy in the RZ and I didn't love the FG call instead of going for it, but no real gripes.

They scored 3 TDs running the ball. The game is 60 minutes.

I was too happy to nitpick, but it seemed like a lot of our drives went to third down. moving the ball is moving the ball, but i just remember thinking drives felt laborious

Not a good night to be trying to get the passing game working. I liked how they ran the ball but overall they didn't have to do much after the first quarter and a half. Game was already over pretty much.

Revised offense and the first action starters got against an opponent. I expected it to look clunky, and at times it did, but they made some plays.

The defense made it easy to try stuff and absorb some errors. The operation will get smoother as they move along.

I see why it was.

My ONLY complaint was being up 26-0 and right before half NY had one timeout and we were on their side of the field.

We threw the ball twice and then ran on 3rd giving them the ball back with :40+ seconds left.

That couldve flipped momentum if they went down and scored.

We're crazy complaining (in a good way) after a 40-0 blowout on national TV. Lol But I wanted to see Deuce more. Maybe with the game already over by mid-2nd quarter, MM decided not to show all our cards? Or, maybe the field was too sloppy for a juking style.

I think the "problem" is this was the first few series for the starters. But hey, no turnovers.

Its the kind of complementory football we have been asking for, he kept the offense driving, no dumb trick plays in the rain and scored points..I expect it to continue because thats the kind of offense that this defense needs to kill QB's. Take time off the clock score points watch the defense work...

My only real gripe was the very last possession of the 1st half. We get the ball to start the 2nd half. Only a minute left and in our territory. Normally, I like being aggressive but this game didn't call for it, especially with the weather. We threw deep on 1st down and incomplete. We then throw it again on 2nd down. I just wanted to get into halftime and get the ball back. I was nervous some quirky thing would happen to give the Giants life.

He's setting up the run with the pass. It used to be the other way around, but times have changed. This is today's football.

....Big Mike is whiff of fresh air. Offense had different feel. They run from every where.

In ways, the runs are keyed from different directions. Dak didnt look claustrophobic, like he did in past.
