  • This is my first mock of the year. Used Draftnetwork simulator.
  • I tried to address as many needs a I could, as early as I could determined by need.
  • 24.
  • Dallas Cowboys
    Tyler Linderbaum
    IOL, Iowa
Upgrading the center position will go along way to fixing what ails us inside.
  • 56.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Jamaree Salyer
    IOL, Georgia
Strong & powerful LG that shuts down a bull rush and plays with a nasty streak in the run game.
  • 88.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Sam Williams
    EDGE, Ole Miss
I think he offers a lot of potential to be a disruptive edge player. Can drop back as well.
  • 129.
    Dallas Cowboys
    John Ridgeway
    IDL, Arkansas
Bug, strong tough 1tech who can stop the run and bull rush well.
  • 155.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Bryan Cook
    S, Cincinnati
A good all around S who can tackle very well. Special teams ability.
  • 167.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Montaric Brown
    CB, Arkansas
Good outside CB that could push for starting position sooner than later.
  • 176.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Romeo Doubs
    WR, Nevada
  • Not great at anything, but offers pure speed to stretch the D
  • 178.
  • Dallas Cowboys
    Zach Tom
    OT, Wake Forest
    swing tackle with upside
  • 193.
    Dallas Cowboys
    Charlie Kolar
    TE, Iowa State
  • Big reliable pass catcher, reminds me of Witten

With Ball on the team I do not see them going back to back OL. If they do not go edge rd 1 I expect them to go edge Rd2.

Those first three picks are tremendous. If you could promise me those three, I would sign off on the rest. I like the final two picks as well as the safety Brian Cook. You did a very good job addressing a lot of needs.

Was thinking about the same, 1st 3 picks would be great.
I like the Cook pick also. I seen all of the Bearcats games last year, he is a good player.

Getting any player from Cincinnati is like getting a player from Ohio State. Since Fickle is from the Ohio State coaching tree. So he recruits as they do.
Would Kolar with the last pick be a steal? I seen some taking him as high as the 3rd round. Which would be great spot to get Ruckert at TE in the 3rd.

I really like Ridgeway in that 3rd/4th round area too. If those were your first four picks, you've really injected some new talent into both lines.

I am not sure if Sam would fall to three but those first three picks would be a great start to the draft.

Now although I don't think sam would fall, I pretty sure that Charlie will not fall, I think he is going up boards.

I think the team views the WR position as a priority, I doubt they could OL with their 1st two picks.

I think you're right, and I think they should have WR very high on their list. I don't view CD as a #1, just yet anyway. Gallup is coming off an acl and you just never know. Washington is a nice #3 but we obviously need to upgrade the position.
It was just that in this mock sim, the WR talent level was no where near the Salyer talent level so I went there. Would they? I doubt it.
