2.Isaac Nauta Georgia (TE)-solid all-around TE who reminds me somewhat of George Kittle

3.Demarcus Christmas FLA St (DT)-powerful interior player, who can help at both positions but mainly helping against the run.

4.Justice Hill Okla (RB)-let's get some relief for Zeke, Hill is an all-around back...great pass catcher

4a.Michael Jackson Miami(CB)-How he runs will go a long way in determining his draft slot.

5.Tyree St.Louis Miami (OT)-'Canes back-to-back, Michael Irvin ecstasy. Raw, but good potential

7.Diontae Johnson (WR)-Might be draft a round earlier, but at this point you never know.

I’m a fan of the players, but think you might be taking Nauta and Christmas a round early.

You definitely win the All-Name mock draft award.

The more I watch him, the more I think he might be a decent enough fit and could be there at 58.

Coley has some similar concepts to Dallas' offense and he is a very good blocker.

I like Nauta alot...solid player with some nastiness in the way he blocks people.
also like Demarcus Christmas...he looks like a Cowboy.

I just don’t see Nauta falling that far, he is a really good football player. To me he is a border two early three guy. If he runs around 4.6 with decent agility his stock will soar.

I'm hearing beat it and jingle bells at the same time...

What he runs and the production on the field don’t match up.

I haven't watched Nauta yet, but The Draft Show scouting tree have been talking him up fierce.
DeMarcus Christmas just doesn't offer anything as a pass rusher; he played 3-Tech in college, but he'd be a straight 1 in our scheme.
I like other backs more than Hill, but because of the receiving ability, I understand why people gravitate towards him.
I really like Michael Jackson. I don't know anything about the other two.

The Justice Hill pick brings up a question I've posed myself. Cowboys fans have been enamored with the Cowboys finding a Dunbar-Back since he left the team, but the Dunbar-Back was a Scott Linehan machination. With Scott Linehan gone and Ezekiel Elliott setting a franchise record for receptions by a RB, should they still try to complement Zeke with a Dunbar-Back, or should they try and find an all-purpose back to improve the spellback production a la Rod Smith?

The appeal of the Lance Dunbar type player was that the Cowboys lacked speed on offense.
Witten and Dez were slow in the last several years of their careers and never had elite speed.

TWill and Beasley had decent but far from elite speed.

Demarco Murray had very good speed in college but by 2014 was not overly fast. The 10 pounds he says he gained before games by drinking massive amounts of water might have been a factor and I think he tried to avoid running at 100% to avoid the numerous hamstring problems that had plagued him.

McFaddden had great long speed but was extremely sluggish in his first 3 or 4 steps.

Cooper, Gallup and Zeke are all speed upgrades over their predecessors.

Jarwin is not overly fast but looked like a Gazelle compared to 2017-Witten.

I would like a Bryce Love type as the backup RB.

I don't care about a Dunbar type, but I do believe the backups do need to bring different traits to the table. Personally I would love to see a bruising back (tough inside runner) and someone who can be a lead back if Zeke goes down but they must be able to catch passes and preferably run good routes when called upon.
