Nope wasn't expecting that, wasn't expecting that at all. Although it wasn't perfect the Cowboys battled, scratched, and clawed their way to a win behind a backup quarterback that had all of one NFL start and who was cut at the beginning of the season. Rush took command of the offense right out the get go taking the Cowboys right down the field for a 7-0 lead. I was also really shocked that they took a 14 point lead into halftime. Unfortunately, that lead didn't last because the Cowboys love their penalties and the offense along with Kellen Moore thought that they could just sit on it. The Bengals caught a few breaks (actually a lot of breaks) i.e. offsides on a punt which turned into 3 points and a fumble by Dalton Schultz which could have turned into points for the Cowboys. The Cowboy's defense was pretty solid however recording 6 sacks and Micah Parsons is leading a pretty good defense right now. Not only is the defense solid but Mystery Maher nailed the game winner. Now it's on to the undefeated Giants who have overachieved so far but I think the Cowboys will win another close one.

I think some recognition for the D line is in order. The pressure on Burrow was obvious but they also bottled up the running game (& Mixon is no slouch). They get another preseason game or two under their belt and they might just be ready to play some ball.

Burrow and the Bengals will be fine, if they get that OL figured out. They do get the Jets next week, flying high off that comeback win.
I look for the Bengals to win that game.

As for Dallas, the D will need to contain Daniel Jones and his running and scrambling.
