1. It's a good thing it's not about fantasy football because that was ugly
2. Cowboys were very fortunate that the Lions fumbled on the goal line
3. Like I said Dak would be rusty and he was but that was expected
4. Kellen Moore is a hit or miss OC, some of those play calls are just bad
5. Tony Pollard is a nightmare for defenses
6. How do you not score any points after that return by Turpin
7. Five second half turnovers for the number one defense in the league and no touchdowns given up
8. Sam Williams is a poor man's Micah Parsons
9. Great picks by Diggs and Lewis who unfortunately is out for the year
10. Penalties are still a huge problem and like the Eagles good teams will expose that weakness

No team the Lions have face have scored only 10 points against them going into the 4th quarter against them. We have that sole privilege. The Eagles scored 24 on the lions in the 2 quarter alone.

This offense has to get better quickly before they have to face a real team again.

other than a sputtering pass offense the rest of the team played well. The running game did their part with about 140 yards rushing

We won, only because of turnovers. Without the turnovers the game was a wash.

Yep. That game was a dogfight until that fumble at the 1 yard line. Had they scored there I believe this game goes down to the wire. That was the turning point.

The Cowboys were lucky to have been facing the worst defense and a lions team that was banged up on offense. No way this team is winning against the 49ers.

So the Lions were not fortunate that Brown fumbled inside the 5? Get a TD there, then it could have been different.
What does one have to do with the other? Both can be true

I don't think it was as ugly as people think. That Lions team is going to be solid next year. I do agree with the most of your points. Especially 4 and 5. Those are both related. Add those calls on 3rd and short that were stuffed. Why is Zeke so far behind the LOS on 3rd and short?

2. Cowboys were very fortunate that the Lions fumbled on the goal line
True. Yet the Cowboys had a fumble near the goalline towards the end of the half. If Brown does not give up the ball down there, chances are the Cowboys go into halftime with a 13-3 lead, or at worse, 9-3. So ultimately, it is a wash.

But let's just say the Lions scored a TD there. I find it hard to believe that in a game where 5 of their 6 second half drives resulted in a turnover, that that 1 of the 5 second half turnovers would have had a significant impact on the end result.

Sure, the score would have been closer, but I don't think the outcome would have changed. Not with the way the Lions giving away the ball like they were Oprah.

11. Why is Kellen Moore running Zeke laterally on 3 and short (twice)?
12. Thanks to the schedule makers that we were playing the Lions right when Dak returned from his thumb injury.

#11. Under Garrett, Dallas was known to play down to their opponents. Yesterday, it appeared that trend reemerged.

I love it when we gash them for 8 yards on the ground and come right back with shotgun formation and use no PA, then on obvious passing downs like 3rd and 12... we use PA?

Moore is lost

Big time Garrette influence right there.
