1. Nope can't win by only scoring 12 points and the Cowboys once again hurt themselves with penalties and turnovers
2. Dak's decision making can be God awful at times and that's why he throws so many interceptions
3. Once Pollard went down I knew the Cowboys were in trouble
4. Not turning the 49ers turnover into a touchdown really hurt
5. Brett Maher is mentally unstable and I'm not sure if he'll be in Dallas next year
6. The Cowboy's defense played really well, they shut down McCaffrey, Samual, and Aiyuk
7. But they let one guy beat them that ugly guy Kittel and Kittel's circus catch was the ball game
8. Dalton Schultz do you have any football awareness at all, two dumb plays cost the Cowboys time and yards and that was the dumbest "trick" play ever designed
9. The Cowboys got beat on too many slant plays and speaking of slants do the Cowboys even have that in their own playbook
10. So now that the season is over what can we expect going into the off season and next year, well McCarthy will be back (it is what it is), Dan Quinn will be gone (big loss) and possibly Moore (no loss there). As far as players not sure if Vanderetch will be back and Zeke will either be cut or he'll have to take a massive pay cut. Tyron Smith is also a guy that you may need to move on from. Defensively I like this group so the Cowboys should do their best to build around Parsons. Offensively they need another receiver and another lineman or two and for you Dak haters he's not going anywhere

I think if Diggs makes the interception on a ball that was in his hands, it's a completely different game from that point on.
Okay say Diggs makes that interception and he gets tackled at the Cowboys 30 yard line. No way was that thing going for a pick 6. Do you seriously think the offense was going to score? They had about two shots after that and they did nothing with it.

Great observation.

The quarterback wasn’t leading this team down the field.

I believe that was a scoring drive for the 49ers, if I'm not mistaken. It would have prevented them from scoring, then who knows what would have happened after that. You can't assume the rest of the game would have gone as it did. You change one thing and everything else changes.

The Shultz plays were really dumb. And don’t tell me the Jacksonville guy was not going horizontal as Shultz was.
Yeah it was a really bizarre time to call it that way.

Not like Schultz was going backwards or not on his own volition.

Most times they let that go

-Dak gifted the 49ers 3 pts on his first interception.
-We were up 6-3 with a chance to go up by 6 or 10 before the half and Dak gifted them another interception.
-Kelvin freaking Joseph handed Dak the ball inside the 30 and we settled for 3.

Not even mentioning the underthrown ball to Ceedee or the badly placed ball to Gallup, we gave them 6 points and left at least 10 points on the board. That's how you lose a game that was ultimately decided by 7 points. 30 year old, 7 year vet crapped his pants again.

Sure, but the 49-ers scored 3 more points after that while the offense was doing nothing. So at most you are looking at a 12-13 scoreline. It was clear when Pollard went out that the offense was done for the night and the only way we would win that is with a defensive or special teams score.

You're assuming they still would have scored 3 points after that. There's no way to know what happens. An interception stopping a scoring drive could have been the momentum-changer they needed.

You are assuming that Dallas would score a TD.

No I'm not. Just saying it could have been a game-changer. Even if it only prevented them from scoring and changed the field position advantage.
Based on what evidence? The defense gets a pick and the offense did nothing after Pollard went out. They were struggling to get first downs and just get into FG range.

Have you never watched a game where a team does nothing, and then there is a momentum-changer? I see it almost every week. I'm not saying it would have happened, just that it had the potential to be a momentum-changer. That's my only point, and really not worth discussing any more because it didn't happen.

If there is anybody in this chat room that is shocked or surprised by what happened yesterday, I've got some oceanfront property in Colorado you might be interested in. I think some of these people are as gullible as lifelong pro wrestling fans that still can't understand why all the bad stuff happens when the referee has his back turned.
The day Dak signed his contract was the day he ensured our depression for the length of it.
