This situation has arguably highlighted the ability of our often criticized OC. Moore had done a good job of setting Copper up for success.

I just finished watching our local weekly show of Dallas Cowboys Special Edition and this was a top topic of discussion. They broke down film illustrating how when only putting 2 receivers in formation it allows more on the LOS to stay in for protection allowing more time for the receivers to come open.

When there is multiple receivers then if the defense comes with blitz it leave open a recurved for an easy outlet to avoid a negative play.

The film also illustrated how we’re opening lanes for our running game. And the focus of establishing the running game which of course helps set up play action. And Rush is doing a fine job executing the scheme and plays called with very little audibles at the LOS checking out of the play called.

David Moore a popular beat writer for the Cowboys local newspaper we are unable to quote or link also appears weekly on the Cowboys Coaches Show and while also complimenting Moore had much praise for how well Rush has performed. Calling him a classic backup QB.

He also had complimentary words for our OL talking about how well Tyler Smith has performed . And our RB Elliott and Pollard are becoming quite a potent duo.
