Of course not. It's human nature for some to complain about nothing. Heck, critics have complained that the Mona Lisa is a flawed painting. Ergo, you can't satisfy everyone.

Hopefully, Jerry Jones realizes that and doesn't raise the video board prior to the U2 concert. If he does, however, the league should do the right thing and finance the raising. Jones gets screwed even when he follows league approved rules or not.

The funny thing is I think the Titans punter purposely tried to hit it and he was shown giving a big sigh of relief after he hit it.


That punt wouldn't have gone 25 yards had he missed.

Quickie question, does the Jerrytron interfere with watching the game on the field. It just seems to me that a screen THAT big, with the motion of the picture on it would be a distraction....or is it turned off during the play and only flipped back on to show replays?

The pics were taken directly from my seat and I was playing with my zoom feature on some shots. Nothing has been photoshopped, the helmets were spinning around and around on the board and I just timed it. Here's another shot of the helmets spinning...

From where I was sitting, I could hardly take my eyes off it. If I had just ignored it and watched the players below, I would have missed replays, the real flow of the game and any type of closeup action at all. I think the video board enhances the game experience and makes a statement, that we're the first in all the world to showcase such an attraction. People who are criticizing it are living in the past and should either embrace it or just stay home and watch the game. Those same type of people, probably criticized the hole in the roof at Texas Stadium as well.

Also, the speakers hanging from the rafters get waaay louder the higher you sit, so by the end of the game you might get a headache if you don't drink up.
