That would mean we drafted the best player available. GM Jethro rarely has the luxury to do that with our FA strategy.

If you decided to pay an aging QB $60M, then you would have to be stupid to not protect your investment.

I am wary of late risers like Dart, but I get the hesitation to anoint Sanders. Not only has his mouth been a problem for him, but I just do not see the hype based on his play in college. Maybe I am wrong but I think I am not alone.

He's the only one that worries me. Besides him, I don't think we draft a WR in the first. Even if we trade back. Raiders, Panthers, maybe even the 49ers will probably take him. If not them, Tet might be there at 12.
