Chris Cooper as July Johnson in Lonesome Dove. I didn't hate him because he was a bad guy in the movie. I hated him because he was so weak and spin-less.
Poor July... can't catch a break. I kept wishing he'd show more unrestrained mettle, too... certainly by the end. He was no Augustus "Gus" McCrae or Woodrow F. Call, was he?
Chris Cooper is a really good actor, though, IMO.
The captain in Pan's Labyrinth
No kiddin'. If ever a guy deserved to be hated and killed...
Sack Lodge in Wedding Crashers
Bradley Cooper was perfect in that role. Sack Lodge, lol, what a name.
Percy Wetmore in The Green Mile
I obviously agree, given he was my choice in my earlier post. Sadistic scumbag and completely spineless, to boot. Weakling through and through. Well acted by Doug Hutchison. Seems like kind of a weird guy in real life, IMO.
Contemptible from beginning to end. One of Joaquin Phoenix's best roles to date, IMO.
All great choices, ethiostar. Can't disagree with any of them. Lowlife's all, in their own right. All of the actors did a great job making their characters so detestable, helping to make the movies they were in that much better.
