Verdict just handed down

Allow me to quote Ron White:

A friend of mine was upset because if we tried Osama outside of the USA he wouldn't be up for the death penality. He asked me why I wasn't upset and I told him. Osama bin Laden is spiritually prepared to die for his beliefs, he is not prepaired to lick jelly from Thunder****'s ***hole.

Why I'm fine with life.

:hammer:

If we ever catch Bin Laden he needs to be put in a cell with Big Bubba.

I can hear the "toss yo salad" skit, by Chris Rock, right now...

Strictly legally speaking, this was the correct verdict. Kudos to the jury.

Too bad the victims were not spared their lives. I would have rather seen this scum removed from the earth but I respect the will of the jury so life in prison awaits. Hopefully no bleeding heart liberal group will complain down the line about how unfair he is being treated.

As he left the courtroom. Moussaoui said "America, you lost. ... I won," clapping his hands as he was escorted from the courtroom.

I personally think he will die an inhumane death at the hands of fellow inmates unless he stays in solitary the rest of his life...

According to what I have heard he will be in solitary the rest of his life. 23 hours in his cell 1 hour outside but not around other inmates.

Man... that's brutal...

Doing that for the next 30 years only to die and burn in Hell for eternity...

Still a better deal than 3,000 people got on 9/11. Now he gets to make a mockery of the court today. Many of his antics have not been seen by this jury today they will see as he will be allowed to address the court. As far as I'm concerned he is a prisoner of war and should be treated as such.

While it would be fine with me if they whacked his head off with a four ft. sword, like we have seen them do on TV, 23 hours a day in a cell for the rest of your life doesn't sound like much fun either.

It seems like a lot of guys do seem to adapt to prison life though, from what I see on TV.

Hope I never find out for myself.

Oh I agree it was a mockery of the court... I wanted him to get death... with extreme prejudice...

Of course he felt that would make him a martyr, which it wouldn't have...

While I dont have a problem with life in prison, if we had a government with any spine whatsoever we would put a bullet in his skull on national television, then turn to the middle east and say "Who's next?"

We can't hold enemy combatants without bleed heart liberals moaning about it. Some where along the way enemy soldiers were afforded the same Civil Rights as a regular US citizen.

While the other side continues to behead civilians :banghead:

I don't wish to get into a political debate (And I'll admit I'm not sure if this is accurate) but they (liberals) have noted that by making them "enemy combatents" instead of prisoners of war Bush is bypassing the Geneva Convention. If true, then the liberals have a point. If not...well, then I just wasted your time...sorry :)

Myself, knowing that this dude will have to wait 30 years for his 72 virgins makes me smile. The 3000 may have died a cruel death, but as a spiritual person I believe their pain was quick and they were soon comforted, Moussaoui's will be long and in the end he'll be lonely and without comfort.

I think I would rather be a bleeding heart liberal....

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you. You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matthew 5:38:45 RSV)

"Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword." (Jesus of Nazareth / Jesus Christ)

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus in Matthew 5:3-10

for let ye of no sin be the first to cast the stone...

Do on to others as you would have them do onto you
