Moving back to California

Well,

We have lived in Oklahoma for nearly 7 years. Have LOVED it. Our reason for moving here was because I was unable to find a job after I was injured at my job of 12 yrs. During our vacation to Calif last month I was offered a job. After much thought and prayer I decided to accept the job offer and will be moving back to Calif on May 14th. Looking forward to re-connecting with family and friends once we get back. I am going to miss all my Oklahoma friends but really feel this is God's will for us. I would appreciate any prayers yall might offer during our time of transition.

May I ask what employment you were offered? Oil,gas?

Curious because CA isn't so energy friendly atm, but Bakersfield does employ a large amount to energy.

Well the good news here in in CA is that home prices are way down so finding a good affordable home should be no problem. The bad news is that gas prices are extremely high right now in CA-highest in the nation so you might have to ride or walk to work. Your mortgage payment might be lower than what you pay for gas in a month. Good luck and my prayers go out to you and your family.

When you get there can you find out about a ticket I got about 24 years ago? I never got it in the mail. I've always been worried that there is a warrant for me there.
