This team should look different in 2023. I suspect that we might move on from several players. Here are a few to discuss:

1. Zeke. That’s been debated around here for some time. Would you cut him or have him take a pay cut? Less dead money if he takes a pay cut, but I would move on from him. CUT.

2. Pollard. I have seen market value analysis saying Pollard’s market value is $25m over 3 years. I wouldn’t pay that. If I could re-sign him for $5m per year yeah, sign me up. But it will probably take more than that. Let him walk and take the comp pick.

3. Tank. Chronic underperformer. His cap his isn’t what it once was but if I could move him for a 3rd round pick I would move on from him.

4. Diggs. Young player with upside. A team might fall in love with him. I look to move him this offseason for a first round pick and a player that we can actually use. Trade or ride out his contract. I don’t pay him as a top corner.

5. Tyron. I shop him for a pick and save the cap room.

6. Schultz. Buh bye.

Low cost keepers (if possible):

Kearse
McGovern
Wilson
Hankins

Wilson won't be cheap and will probably follow Dan Quinn unless we pay him more

1) No issue moving on.....If he wants to stay he needs to take a significant paycut and understand he is a role player on this team in 2023
2) Easy franchise tag for me, unless hes open to something long term but very team friendly
3) Don't see any scenario he leaves....even traded he comes with a $26M cap hit....lets talk about him in 2024
4) I'm very intrigued by the idea of dealing Diggs at a high price. Lots of big contracts coming up and you can't keep everyone....might as well shop him around and see whats out there. If you can get a 1st + another piece I don't hesitate.
5) IDK what to do about Tyron....I'd love to keep him, but Smith/Steele are you Tackles next year. Not sure it makes sense to keep the big guy at his current price.
6) Agreed. No reason to lock Schultz up to a monster TE deal

I'd also write Wilson a check for whatever he needs. We finally develop actual players at the Safety position lets keep them around. I bet his market is a lot stronger than you think.
