Waiting for a while? Why didn't you just go by the CD?

I have pretty much everything they've done on Vinyl and CD, so I'm not sure that this would affect me much. Unless the remastered versions are noticeably superior, I doubt that they'll get much from me. I do note that my family usually picks up anything Beatles for me at ******mas time, as I'm not easy to shop for.

I love the Beatles music and am a big fan, but I've never purchased their music and the odds of it getting on my music player are practically nil.

While it's great and I really enjoy it when it's playing, it just isn't something that I set out to listen too so I would never buy it for that purpose. Buddy Holley, Elvis, and several others are the same way. I love their music, but I'm just not going to pay since I don't ever intentionally set out to listen to it.

Almost all the people that will be excited by this, or claim to be, should probably have just gone out and gotten the CD's. It's not like it's new material.

Exactly, I've got a pretty serious collection of Beatles music on CD, and I paid less than .99 cents a song for it. People's slavish adoration for all things Apple--as in mac, not apple records--kind of wears on me.

Despite the fact that it doesn't effect me, this has been a much anticipated announcement. It's been a really big deal for years, when the Beatles were going to go digital.
