Interesting stats, thanks.

We just need to get healthy and we can play with anyone. We need the bye bad and might still need another week.

I understand what youre saying, but we all know its any given sunday, ya know?

You can only play who's on the schedule.

You are what you are.

This is incorrect and I really really really hope our team is not actually thinking like this because it is this type of attitude that led to the Wash. game, the Cinnci game, the Ariz game, and some extent the St. Louis game. We are not talented enough to just show up and play with anyone...we must remember to play with the same fire and heart our D played with last week. If we don't remember that we are doomed.

Jerryworld is not the Real World! This is the fargin NYGIANTS man up and give it the respect it deserves! Some of u guys should order the History of the Dallas Cowboys video! Get your head out of Jerrys arse and enjoy the fact u r the fan of the greatess team in the greatest division! Act like it every once in awhile.

Did you feel that way in 2003 when we went 10-6 with Quincy Carter at QB? Somehow I doubt it. Most believed that our easy schedule was what helped us to that record.

Most people didn't, even Parcells, who was often making that statement of "you are what you are" didn't believe we were as good as our record.

It is meant to be a truism but it is so often untrue that it is just a useless phrase.

Agreed, hence the fear when injuries force us to have less talent on the field.

Obviously, we need to play mistake free, high energy ball regardless.

The Giants are 6-1, not 6-2.

Hopefully they will be 6-2 by the end of sunday though. :D

You can believe you are a better team or a team on the rise or vice versa but it doesn't really matter what anyone think. The W-L record determines if you move on to the playoffs or not. It's doesn't matter who you have played. Sure you may feel better about your chances but no one takes that into account when it comes to choosing playoff teams.

Opponents with winning records so far (record vs those teams) [vs common opponent]

Giants: 2 (2-0) [2-1]
Cowboys: 5 (3-2) [2-1]

Giants are a good team...possibly better than dallas right now, but I don't think they're the juggernaut some on their squad think they are. Take away the Bengals games and we've still faced better teams.

Agreed, when you look at their offense Sunday they scored 4 x FG's and 1 x TD. Hardly a juggernaut, but it was the Steelers D. If our D can play up to the same level as Sunday then maybe we have a chance, but then there is ST's and Brad....

The G-men schedule gets brutal going forward, their next 8 games are against teams with winning records.
