My 8 year old daughter comes into the house last night with blood gushing from her forehead. She tells me that she fell off her motor scooter and I look at the deep gash on her head. I tell her it looks like we have to go to the hospital and she will need some stitches. She looks at me and told me she would be right back. She comes back with a needle and thread and tells me to stitch her up because some of the neighborhood kids are playing football and she wants to be the qb. This is the same kid that hurt her arm the day before Thanksgiving but told me and my wife she had a litttle pain but will be fine. She even played football with her cousins on turkey day. When my wife and I looked at it the next day it was swollen. My wife took her to the hospital and sure enough it she broke her elbow. She was upset that we took to the hosptial both times because she hates going. I laughed when she came back with a needle and thread. She wants to be the qb for the Cowboys some day and when I told her that girls don't play in the NFL, she just looked at me and said that will change and just walks away.

Great story Bigdog.

Her future husband better be a strong guy. :laugh2:

Tough kid!!!

My daughter is 1 1/2 right now and by the looks of it so far, she's going to be able to play LB someday.

Was at a friend's house the other day and a couple had a set of 4 year old twins. The mom told them to play nice around the baby. 2 seconds later, my daughter literally form tackles the boy to the ground - head in the chest looking up - perfect tackle!! :D

So there's two girls now going pro.... :laugh2:

This reminded me of something my daughter said when she was 4 years old. I used to coach Pop Warner football and she would come hang out at the field while we were practicing. She would hear me tell a kid when he would get a bump or bruise to "Rub some dirt on it and walk it off."

So when it came time for me to take my wife to the hospital when she was having our second child, my daughter asked, "Why doesn't mommy just rub some dirt on it?"

Kids are something.

I see the problem here. You seem to have a MLB looking for a team on your hands.

Who knows maybe the league will be different when she is old enough. Heck the NFL let Eli play why not your little girl. :lmao:

So true. They crack me up on some of the things that they say or do. Their view of the world is much more simpler then us adults. Most of the time it is better too.

I Can tell you right now, you don't even have to worry when she starts dating. lol, she'll scare all the wanna be's away easily, lol

She could take over for Barbie and we wouldn't miss a beat.

I think you should get in touch with Jerry and tell him this story.
