My folks went to San Antonio this past weekend (not for camp) but just had to tell me how about all the Cowboy fans they saw there. They also mentioned as they were leaving their hotel they got into the elevator and there was a man already inside he looked at them and asked how they were doing and if they were enjoying their stay in SA. My dad looked at the man and said aren’t you Terrell Owens and with a big smile he said yes sir I am. My folks had no clue they were staying at the same Hotel as the Cowboys. They did get to see many of the players and talked a little with Bum Phillips who was also staying there. :)

There's something funny about your folks meeting a guy you can't stand... :laugh2:

Glad they had a good time...

I admit I have never been a fan of his because of some of his action over the years. I was glad to hear from my family (mom) that he was a very polite man. As John McClain once told me TO biggest problem is he does not think before talking and he lets the media bait him into saying things that sometimes should not be said.

It doesn't take much to bait him... cuz like you said, he tends to speak alot before thinking...

That said, I'm not surprised he was nice towards your fam. People are never as evil as we think they are nor are they as nice as we think they should be...

Well I never thought he was evil just very immature. I will say in the last interview I saw with him on the NFL channel he admitted as much and feels he has matured. I still have some doubts but recently when he was asked about the new end zone rules he mentioned that that was the last thing on his mind right now. He said he was focused on learning, improving and winning.

Must admit I wasn't happy when Jerry signed him. Was just very concerned with our very young team that we'd have lockerroom problems with him and various other distractions. Have been surprised by the rather small problems he's caused (blown out of proportion in my view by the media) and bet the national media is bent out of shape cause they now have to make up issues.

Hopefully the biggest problem we have with him will be how to decide whose the MVP in our upcoming SB win.

Listen, if the lowly Skins make jokes on Extremeskins on how they'll really smack us around in our last game of the season (in Washington) on their way to the SB behind their "savior" Jason Campbell, we Cowboys have much more legit chance then they do. Of course if the Skins don't make it to the SB, they'll whine as is their usual forte & blame the refs claiming the NFL hates the Skins and Snyder. No Commander lose is ever their fault -- that changes of course when their loses mount.

Yeah, my wife tells me I have matured a lot in the last four years, but then she still says I'm like a little kid because I get excited about Transformers (the movie and the toys) and she says because I obsess over whats happening with the Cowboys.

You need to grow up. Why do you have to read about that stuff everyday?

Of course, I just point to her fashion/celebrity stuff (internet/TV/magazines) and roll my eyes. :D

I told you doubters that T.O. is an overall nice person

I'm glad he is a nice person and I hope things continue to go well for him in Dallas because this team can't afford a major TO meltdown. I hope TO has in his own words matured
