My friend larry says if jerry jones hires norv turner, then the cowboys are doomed for 3-4 years.

Second, he brought up a point, that i would like you guys to consider and think, make your reflections on, etc. After Jimmy Johnson left, Switzer took over, and won super bowl, that the next year, jerry jones was really in control, and you could look at the drafts by larry lacewell/jerry jones, etc, and see with those changes, is main reason why we have lost games in december.

That with jerry jones in charge, and control trying to change things and do them his way, that the cowboys attitude was lack luster in december, if you remember after 1998 (not sure about the stats) but we lost more games in december since.

so what do you guys thing?

I think and hope Jerry learned from past mistakes as he was quoted a couple of years ago of saying of his mistakes. Who ever the HC is Jerry needs to give them the same freedom that was given to Jimmy and Bill. Jerry will always be involved with the team but he has to listen to the people he is putting in place. I don't buy into the notion that if he hires Norv that means he will go back to how things were done in the Campo and Gailey era.

He did not force Parcells out and wanted Bill to stay. If Jerry was dead set on going back to how things were before Bill I doubt he would have tried to keep Parcells around like he did.
