I have him on my Fantasy Baseball team and I have never seen a player more dialed in than he is right now. He has 9 home runs in his last 25 at bats. 9 of his last 11 base hits have left the yard. He also has scored 9 of his 10 runs on his own bat sending Mr. Spalding over the fence. Throw in 15 RBI in those 11 hits, and a .407 batting average on the season and the results are just sick.

He's just teeing off on it right now.

He's on an amazing streak.

I wonder how much longer it will go.

Until he gets :jackpot:

LOL!

No doubt the Rangers are going to pay to the teeth for the guy.

But he will slow down... Probably quite a bit, at least for a short time.

Last year jimnabby had a team in my Fantasy League and he just dominated. This year appears to be my turn. Unfortunately, only a 6 team league. Out of a possible 60 points I have 56 as of last night. I lead in 8 of the 10 categories and am 3rd in ERA and WHIP.

I swear I have the NL and AL MVP both at this point.

yeah it is almost Barry Bondsish what he is doing

ya, with the exception that his head is still a normal size and not looking like he should be in that race in milwaukee.

Hamilton has been great! i hope he gets to at least 61 HRs, im sure he wont, but one can hope

Ahhherrr...

Hamilton's homer high is 32 twice.

61?

Probably 50 is probably more in line.

Funny looking at his stats, his numbers bounce around quite a bit from season to season.

im sure he will also get hurt at some point so he might not even get to 50, but if he can somehow stay healthy, he might be able to make it interesting

He is the best player in Baseball. Kemp is next.

if we were rating the MLB players madden style, hamilton would be a 99, kemp a 97, and the next closest guy prob like 92, its that big of a gap

Good point about the healthy thing. He's not a 162 game-a-year player.

He also doesn't walk.

The dude slid head first into first base when we were up 7...

Wash needs to put an end to that. I love his hustle though.

True-ish. He averages about 50something walks a year. It's good for about an average of top 65-70ish in the league in walks. Though it's OBP that is most important and his career OBP (.371) would put him around the top 25.

In a since I look at Josh like a Vladimir Guerrero, except a better hitter who hits with much more power. We won't even discuss his fielding since Josh is probably a top 3 if not the best center fielder in the league.

My favorite current player in the league. Love watching this dude play.

I was thrilled to be there Friday night and see him add to more homers. Then we listened to the game on the radio Saturday, on our way back home, and got to hear him hit another one.

Loved it.

Got my first baseball jersey Friday night and it's an awesome Hamilton one.

Hopefully he is still a Rangers after this season. :laugh2:

I know that some scouts have said that Josh Hamilton is the best prospect they ever saw. There is nothing that he couldn't do in an elite fashion. He was a true 5-tool prospect with a good eye at the plate and great contact skills.

If he can keep his life from derailing with his addictions he can build himself a HOF career and be an inspiration for everyone out there who is beat down and in despair.

He's a great player... No doubt.

HOF career?

Tough one there, being that he's going to be 31 on May 21st.

Even with his homer outburst this season he's only at 136 homers for his career.

And he misses a lot of time.

It's going to be hard for him to make the hall considering baseball is such a stat based sport. He definitely has HOF talent though, just hasn't had a long career for his age.
