I'll take that draft and look at you starting Schmitz at center.

Others have a higher opinion of Mims than I do, but I'll yield a little given the balance of your draft haul.

Not awful but I want no part of the Florida Edge. Kicked off team a few times and this is already a loose culture. Bad mix.

I also think the Lousville QB is barely XFL/USFL caliber.

Mayer 31 inch arms
Look at him play and its a non issues like uts been with Martin.different positions I know but what I'm saying is his arm length hasn't shown to be any kind of issue for him. He's just the best te in this class by far. And really the only one with consistent production. The rest are all running on their workouts without pads. Mayer proved it in games. When you got a player like Musgrave with under 400 yrds in 4 yrs of college projected to be bottom 1st early 2nd you got issues with the te class.

Good realistic mock draft but the Cowboys like Badacz. I don’t see any rookie taking his spot this season.

Not bad. I personally would like a NT. Though, the players here are excellent choices. Perhaps take Clark from Coastal Carolina in round 5 instead of Brenton Cox Jr. I say that because we need someone to rotate with Hankins. Plus, if Hankins goes down and if we don't have depth, our run defence is going to struggle.

I think Dallas is a good fit for him. Jones has had some success with troubled guys in the past and keeping their heads on right … even for a few years.

The talent is there. But you always take a chance on these guys especially in the late rounds.

Would be very happy with Moody and Cunningham as well. I don’t think Cunningham will ever be more than a backup. But I want a scrambling QB

Maybe so, but biadasz inability to be consistent with the inside blitz needs to get addressed. That inside blitz has been a problem the last few years. Since Fred retired.

Believe the team when they say after signing Hankins the DT position is good. The defense is really young. How are they going to know what they got if they don't play them. Seems like they're going to do that this season, and looks like they're going to focus on offense. As they focused on defense last draft.

Perhaps, but I'm not comfortable going into this season with only 1 NT. That's why I have one in my mock draft that I just did. I think that, at the very least, we need someone who can rotate with Hankins. As we saw last year, if Hankins goes down, we struggle heavily in run defence. I'd love to have Benton in round 2, but Colburn or Clark in rounds 5 or 6 would be great.

Me either, but it is what it is. It's not like the run defense was the same mess at the end of the yr that it was at the start.

After the gb game

Vs min 17 for 73 yrds
Vs nyg 21 for 90 yrds
Vs ind 30 for 109 yrds
Vs hou 37 for 114 yrds
Vs Jax 27 for 192 yrds
Vs Phi 29 for 87 yrds
Vs ten 24 for 97 yrds
Vs wash 41 for 151 yrds
Vs tb 12 for 52 yrds
Vs sf 32 for 113 yrds

If you look at that in the last 10 games they had 2 bad games, and really you can say just 1. It look wash 41 carries to get 151, 3.6 ypc is bad. The rbs they faced in those games is not easy either. Hankins only played in 5 games. Where's the struggle other than the Jax game in the last 10. I'll even give you the Washington game.

Sure, it wasn't a complete mess, but Parsons was beaten down pretty badly as well. That's the other reason that I've been insisting on another NT. If we can get a NT to rotate with Hankins, that means that teams are having to double or triple team them. That takes a lot of pressure off of Parsons, which means he's able to be even fresher throughout the game. Think what he can do with a top Dline in front of him for the whole season. It's why in a mock draft that I just posted, I have Benton. I also took a LB in the draft that can help Parsons too. Imo, when you have elite talent like Parsons, you give him as much help as you can to make him even deadlier.

Your on to something when it comes to the inside blitz and defensive tackles blowing up the interior. I think it is the number 1 problem the Cowboys want to resolve. It just sounds to me that they want to blame the issue on the left guard. First it was Williams and now McGovern. This draft will show their cards.
