I have been looking to upgrade my 32 inch LCD 720p Samsung for awhile now. After doing much shopping I decided on a 47 inch LG 1080p 120hz monster of a TV. The Samsung is already sold. When my sister found out about she instantly offered me $150.00 for it. But I told her with the family discount it would be a Hundred even. That should just about pay for my gas delivering it.

I did the same thing this past weekend. Picked up a 46" Sony Bravia with the internet apps. It will be in on saturday. Satellite will be in on monday with my hd receiver. All in time for the game.

LG is the way to go! My 42" LCD is 3 years old and still looks great.

Next stop E-Bay or on the computer store tiger direct to get a surround sound system then it will be as good as being there ."Almost"

Im actually in the market for a new TV. I am getting a 55-60 though. I have a 50" Pany Plasma atm. It's a great picture but it's nothing like what the new 3D Tv's from say Samsung are getting.

LG has also put out some extremely nice 550-600hz tvs that have an unbelievable picture.

The 60 Samsung 8000 series is still hovering around 4999.99, so Im saving.

I'll need to save a while for a 5K TV. But if I had the money, I wouldn't think twice. Next I need to get a good stand. it's sitting on a high heavy shelf unit now, and a nice home theater system.

I have that same TV and I am very happy with it. Dust has a tendency to collect in the corners so make sure you keep it clean routinely. There can be some pixelation with the True Motion, mostly when you're watching regular television, but it's easily fixed with some picture settings.

Sad that I can identify the Star Trek movie by just one screen shot. Nemesis was good, but could have been so much more... and better...
