I said number one, not only....because there are many MANY more.
Number one........He never learned the oldest universal truth in football. That being......." more games are lost than are actually won" Think back on his time in Dallas,.....how many countless games that we had won did we end up losing near the end of the game because of some terribly ill timed penalty, turnover, or mystifying play call by the coaching staff. We always found a way to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory under Garrett. That was just his way.
He was hell bent on continually trying to prove he was the smartest guy in the room. He would do this by over thinking and over complicating situations that should have been a no brainer. 4th down and 6 inches to seal the game? You could just about count on Garrett getting tricky, only to be the one who ended up tricking himself and ending up looking like a TOTAL FOOL. Didnt matter that we had a dominant line, dominant runningback, and 240 pound QB......nope,...that all went out the window with Garrett. FOOL! Soooooooooo glad that goofball is gone. The Detroit game, the Packer game with Flynn,....on and on and on. The Flynn game was really something. First half,....just utterly RAM RODDING the packers play after play in the run game to build a good lead. They couldnt stop it, not even close. So what does Garrett CHOOSE to do in the second half? ..." Hey I know, lets go RIGHT AGAINST what was working all game long and go away from the run" WTH??? Oh , and as an added bonus you dont drain any clock and end up leaving just enuff time for the packers to come back. Our team looked like FOOLS that day, because of THAT FOOL! Feel bad for Garrett? Hell no....... get out...get gone....and DONT COME BACK!
