My guess is that if Penning or Johnson are available at 24, we go OL and pick up WR or Edge at 56.
However, if those two players are gone, I see us taking one of the better WRs at 24 and address OL at 56.

Personally, I think there are a few NFL OGs ready to go even n rounds 3-4.

I’d take Zion, Green and maybe Linderbaum over any WR in this class at 24.

I love London, but hes not taking Lambs spot at WR1 and we just paid MG 10 mil to be WR2.

If there was someone of Lambs caliber that fell I’d consider but that dude ain’t in this class.

I think WR interest may be more of a flirtation. After the 1st rounds they brought in, interest completely falls off the map. I dont know if they even talked to others at the combine.

My bet is they dont take one. All their talk has been about OL, and I think thats where they go. They are usually fairly transparent

If we didnt sign Gallup and kept Amari short term, Id be more interested in London. I think he would be a great counter to Lamb. As it is we dont go to our 3rd WR enough to justify either a top 30 pick or a 10 million a year contract.

This times a million…we don’t target our #1 WR enough so why the heck should we draft a #3 in the 1st?

Penning is highly unlikely to be there, if he does fall, he would be a Cowboy. It appears they are leaning towards taking Zion/Green, maybe Linderbaum unless a receiver they like falls into their laps-Burks/Olave. As for the next 3 picks, figure they will be targeting WR, Edge, TE and maybe LB could be in the mix.

My hope they draft Shakur either in the 3rd or 4th rd. Not only does he fill the #3 role well, but also upgrades our return units where Lamb needs to come off now.

I like him a lot but wouldn’t take him until the 4th…

I think if they are looking for a long term pair for Lamb, they are at least a year early. Gallup's deal is essentially two years, and if he can can manage to stay healthy he may even finish it. If you are looking at WR high in the next two drafts, its with the plan to cut Gallup after his guaranteed is up. I think its too early to "follow the money" there.

If he gets injured again in 2022, maybe thats a 2023 conversion

If they want their choice at TE, might have to plug the trigger at 88. Players like Shakur, Bell, Pierce be hopefully slide to day 3.

Taking a WR at 24 would be another huge mistake.

I think their board would go something like this Cross, Penning, Davis, Burks/Olave, Winfrey, and Johnson/Green. Other options would be Dean and Karlaftis. If they don't get one of the first 3, I think they would go with Burks or Olave over the guards.

Deep draft for offensive guards?

Gotta go oline early
Easily our weakest link

If the receivers can start on the Oline I am all for it.
