I am 100% certain the selections we are scheduled to draft will change.
All that said it is always interesting to see what the team could possibly net.

51. Rashad Johnson, Alabama, Safety.
Rashad was a team captain and leader. He plays better than he tests out. He is a solid all-around safety but neither an elite cover guy nor a hard hitter. He just plays good, smart football. A QB for the secondary.

69. Jarron Gilbert, San Jose State, DE.
Gilbert wouldn't even be here except he is a big guy for a pass rusher and didn't face top notch foes. Good fit in Dallas where he'd be a 3-4 DE and have enough explosion to get into gaps.

97. Eric Wood, Louisville, Center.
Wood is not a special athlete but he is a very good all-around player and he is smart. While he isn't the physical beast the Cowboys like to destroy guys in 1 on 1 match-ups he has the head and heart to battle and get everyone assigned to the right guy.

113. Aaron Kelly, Clemson, WR.
Kelly is 6'5" and over 200 pounds so he has the length to appeal as a target. He also put up combine numbers of 4.49 40 and 38" vert. So he can flat out get down the field and up in the air.

148. Bruce Johnson, Miami, CB.
Johnson is small at only 5'9" and 170 pounds but he displayed actual cover skills and smooth hips which were in short supply at the combine. Dallas can use him as a return guy and nickel CB.

158. Joel Bell, Furman, OT.
Bell is one of those guys who is small school but has the big body the Cowboys love. He is 6'7" and 315 so not all that different from a McQuistan type prospect. Left tackle potential.

184. Travis McCall, Alabama, H-Back.
McCall is a true blocker. He is only 6' but weighs 260. He can flat push people around. Is not a receiver or rusher but can lay the wood on folks.

193. Ronnie Palmer, Arizona, ILB.
6'3" and 245 with a penchant for picking off passes. Dallas would have probably liked a higher drafted ILB but it fell this way this time. Is known as a great team guy and a winner.

210. Tom Brandstater, Fresno State, QB.
Dallas has reportedly been checking him out. He has good height at 6'5" and has good speed for a QB. Has some experience and isn't super raw. Does need to become more accurate.

I hope you mean Ashlee Palmer (Ole Miss) at 193 instead of Ronnie Palmer. Ronnie could only play Bradie James' SILB spot.

No way he is fluid or quick enough to play the WILB spot (which is a need, especially in the nickel), which requires the LB to play sideline to sideline as well as being the primary coverage LB.
