My upstairs neighbor owns a dog that he doesn't take care of. You can always hear it moaning, barking, and scratching at the door. Of course, that's annoying, but far worse than that is knowing that the poor creature is miserable. People who don't have time to walk a dog, shouldn't have one! These are animals that need regular attention. He must work at some job that keeps him away from home very long hours. If that's the case, he shouldn't have a dog! He doesn't have the time necessary to commit to taking care of the poor thing. I've complained to the property management, but it always happens again. That dog would probably make a great companion to an elderly person and keep them from being lonely, and the dog would be a lot happier too. I don't know how anyone can be such an idiot that they get an animal that they don't have time to care for.

That's the biggest reason I haven't gotten another dog. I just don't have enough time to properly care for one, and give it the attention it deserves.
You should call the humane society if it's that bad.

Forget about the dog, have you seen the kids outside lately? We are doing an awesome job teaching the future generations.

Besides you give that guy too much credit..works long hours. Probably just a dude watching tv all day.

LoL,,, my cat zips& runs around, darting past me every time I'm out in the yard just about as bad as any hyper happy hound,,,
( she thinks it's a playtime party whenever I kick back in the hammock with a couple of cans of beer:lmao:)
Man,
,I really can't even imagine shouldering the burden of commitment in owning a dog right nowo_O

Back in my College days, I had a roommate in an apt complex off campus. Above us, lived a very hot exotic stripper about 6 years older than us. We used to harmlessly flirt with her hoping one day to score.

Well, some time later, I came home from class and her door was wide open. I went up there to check on her and low and behold.........it was a pigsty. First smell was dog crap and it was bad. I looked around in each room and the empty room was covered in pee and feces along with the living room. She had no furniture at all in this place, just an old TV.

I finally found her passed out in bed(single twin mattress on the floor) and she never even woke up. This place was ruined along with my image of her. I bet this poor dog has never been taken outside and the dog food was just poured on the floor in that other room to feed as pleased.

Being young and naive, I never reported her but regret that to this day :(

People who neglect or harm animals are close to the top of my hate list!

My ex-wife's Uncle's house was destroyed by the love of their dogs. Dog hair everywhere and I was in college at the time and they had a computer in the basement and the dogs stayed down there in feces and urine. They asked me " If I wanted to use their computer to do a college work assignment"? I refused because I think I would have had to be rushed to the hospital because it smelled so bad. We had dinner there and the freaking dogs were under the table scratching our legs for scraps. The place was disgusting and we never came back to visit them.

I work in the 437 square miles of LA .I've seen all types of stray dogs.....when they roam in a pack we call them "Ghetto Elk".

If your neighbor has a dog who's loved, sheltered, and fed.....be thankful

Yep. When you have a dog like that, or a German Shepherd, you have you clean every day.......I'm still finding dog hairs occasionally, and my Shepherd's been gone for 7 years!!
